Data Processing. What kind of Data do we use.
We process personal data that we collect from our customers and business partners as part of our business relationship. We process personal data only with the consent of the customer and if this is necessary for the provision of our services. Exceptions apply in cases where prior consent is not possible for practical reasons. For example, users can get in contact with us through our web pages via email or contact form. In this case, your personal data transmitted will be stored and, if the order has been given, processed. The purpose and scope of the data processing depends primarily on the specific service that you request with us. Relevant personal data in the processing of our services may or may not be: Name, address, phone number, email, other contact details, gender, nationality, marital status, religion, date of birth, hobbies, health information, photos, resume data, business, school/university education, passport data, driving license data, program-specific data like for our Au-Pair programs: Experience in dealing with children, references, police certificate of good conduct, etc. If and only if necessary, we process your data beyond the actual performance of the contract, e.g. to safeguard legitimate interests of us, market analysis, marketing measures, statistics, testing and optimization of internal processes, quality controls, or the like. Insofar as you have given us consent in accordance with Article 6 (1) GDPR for the processing of your data, for a specific purpose (e.g. fulfillment of the program contract, provision of our services, disclosure of your data to third parties), the legality of this processing is based on your consent. A given consent can be revoked at any time. It should be noted that the revocation only applies to the future, from the day of the revocation. Data processing that occurred before the revocation is not affected.

Data Forwarding. Who gets my data.
Within Chile Inside, those departments have access to your data, which they need to fulfill our services, especially the placement process and ongoing support. Also external service providers required by us may receive your data for this purpose. Recipients of personal data may be: accommodation (host families / landlord / hotel, etc.), language schools, partner agencies, transport companies, program hosts and other types of external service providers that are directly related to the placement process and ongoing support as well as quality assurance. The transfer of data to a third country will take place if this is necessary for the execution of your order. These may be, in particular, program hosts, language schools, accommodations, transport companies, etc. in one of our offered destination countries.

Storage of Data. Duration and Reason.
We store your personal data as long as it is necessary for the provision of our services, the fulfillment of the contract and legal obligations. Your personal data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer necessary for the execution of the contract and our tax and commercial retention periods have expired. This can be up to 5 years.

Privacy Rights and Oblications. What are my rights and duties.
As part of our business relationship, you must provide the personal information necessary to perform the placement process, ongoing support and contractual obligations. Without provision of this data, we will have to reject the mediation order and conclusion of the contract. Each data subject has a right of access pursuant to Article 15 of the GDPR, the right to delete data in accordance with Article 17, the right to limit processing under Article 18, the right of data transfer under Article 20 and the right to opposition according to Article 21.

Use of the Website. What data is stored.
Every time you visit our website, your computer system automatically sends data to the server of our website and temporarily stores it. This information includes: information about the web browser, IP addresses, operating system, date and time of the server request, URL of the retrieved file. Not affected is information that would allow the mapping of the data to a user. The collection of data is mandatory for the provision of the website and its operation. Our website uses cookies and the analytics tools of Google Analytics, which contribute to the improvement of the functioning of our website and are therefore necessary for the protection of our legitimate interests. Google Analytics is an analysis tool from Google Inc., USA, which has committed itself to comply with European data protection laws. We also use social media plug-ins from Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. In addition, we have included on our website Youtube videos that are played directly on Youtube. We expressly point out that we have no influence on the data processing operations and collected data of any of the aforementioned third party.

The users of our website have the possibility to subscribe to a free newsletter. When registering name, last name and email address are queried and stored. The newsletter can be canceled at any time, by email to us or via the corresponding link in each newsletter.
